A.B.A.T.E. of Pennsylvania - is a non-profit, motorcycle-rights organization dedicated to preserving freedom of choice and freedom of the road with an emphasis on education and safety. o A.B.A.T.E. started in 1980 with a chapter in every county of Pennsylvania and a total of 6,000 members. |

Civil Air Patrol - has been in existence since 1943. It is a Volunteer organization funded through the U.S. Air Force teaching young people from the age of 12 to 21. They teach them how to fly and do emergency rescue. Being a member makes them eligible for an 8,000 scholarship per year towards EMT or Communications. There is one in every state. You do not have to a member of the military and if they choose to join the military, they will go in as an officer. Their Headquarters are in Sayre Recreation Center 58th & Spruce Street. |

| Abundant Life Youth Choir - of Christ Haven Pentecostal Church in Darby, PA. Pastor Todd is the Presiding Pastor and Tonya Hatch is the Choir Director. The Sayre Beacon - is located at Sayre High School on 58th and Walnut Street. They provide a variety of out-of-school time activities for children, youth and adults of all ages: including, daily academically based after school programming for elementary and middle school students, college and career readiness programs for high school students, family fitness nights for entire families, and a menu of athletic, recreational and enrichment programs for people of all ages and skill levels. | Neighborhood United Against Drugs - has been in existence since 1988 focusing on prevention, intervention and education. NUAD has programs for young people, which include peer education, abstinence, after school and summer programs. Some adult programs include HIV Aids counseling and testing. NUAD provides referrals for people with drug and alcohol problems. NUAD also makes referrals to create linkages to other social service agencies. NUAD’s most recent protégé is NUADD (New and Unique Association of Dance and Drama) This dance and drama group represents the youth participants in the Shaw Middle School After School Program. | |||
| The West Philadelphia Conestoga Angels Precision Marching Corp - Directed by Celestine Marks. Has been in existence for 19 years. Competed in the East Coast Federation State and National Competition and the World Class Judging Association World Cup Championship. The Philadelphia Conestoga Angels Precision Marching Corp came in second place in last years 16th Neighborhood to Neighborhood Street Festival and Parade Drill Team Marching Competition. | |||

| Sierra Leone (FREE DELPHIANS) - Directed by Bockarie Ellis. The FREEDELPHIANS is a registered, progressive organization with aims of Preserving, Promoting, and Uplifting the culture of Sierra Leone and its impact to our presence in America. | |||
| ACANA – (African Cultural Alliance of North America) was formed in 1998 as an arts and cultural organization and resource center for African immigrant musicians who came to America from West Africa. Their purpose was to provide resource to give them the opportunity to practice their music in America because of the war. City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell took notice and asked them to collaborate the 2000 Echoes of Africa Festival at 52nd and Pine Street. This year they are going back to the Millennium of Music Festival between Chester and Woodland on 55th Street. They also provide social service for the African immigrants in Philadelphia. ACANA now has an After-school Program, Summer Day Camp Program and Community Food Bank. Community Computer Application Class, Adult Basic Education and English as an ESOL class. They also do Job referral and health housing referral all free of charge. The 52 flags represent the 52 countries in Africa. | |||
| West Powelton Steppers and Drum Squad – Directed by Mrs. Elsie Wise and Antoine Mapp. Has been in existence for 15 years and performed in many State and National Competitions, recently placing first place. They’ve traveled all over the United States from east to west and most recently performed in Detroit, Michigan. West Powelton is our first place winner in last years 16th Neighborhood to Neighborhood Street Festival and Parade Drill Team Marching Competition. | |||
| Dimetrious Jr. Racing - Dimetrious family unofficially joined the Jr. Dragster Racing world in 2004. At the time Dimetrious was 11 years old. His father, determined to fuel Dimetrious' passion, purchased for him a Spitzer Jr. Dragster. After the Bikers with Heart parade we started getting invited to different events across the area. We showed the dragster at Picnics and Parades and other events around the city. I began taking Dimetrious to different car shows to display his Jr. Dragster. It was at one of these car shows that he was invited to Fort Washington, Maryland to ride in the Homeless Childrens' Parade organized by the Bikers with Heart association. They are a group of people who, among other things, provides help for disadvantaged youths and their families. After the parade Dimetrious was asked to show his dragster to the young inner city children in the hope of motivating them. | |||
| Anthony Colon & Company - Anthony Colón was born in Philadelphia, but he was raised and educated in Puerto Rico, where he moved with his family at the age of eight. Anthony Colon became part of the Combinación Latina Orchestra. Where he made his first recording. Colón made four recordings at a much higher level for Rodven Records. Along with completing numerous international tours, and playing in arenas like Madison Square Garden, this band during that period released various gold records. | |||
| Pyramid Temple #1 Youth Department Drum Corp – The Pyramid Temple #1 Youth Department Drum Corp is a community-based organization that provides mentoring and instruction for children from ages 7 to 17 in the art of drumming and also provides a safe haven of activity that includes participation in community oriented parades and competitions. They adopted The Youth for Excellence (YEE) Initiative, which addresses the need for our your to better understand their recent Civil Rights history and become more committed to individual excellence. | |||
| Eastwick Commandoes Marching and Drum Squad – Directed by Arlene Womack and Tonya Rose-Davis, has been marching for 13 years. They’ve performed at the Epcot Center in Disney World in front of former President Bill Clinton. They performed in Chicago’s Bud Billiken/Windy City Classic and competed in competitions with the American Marching Association. | |||
